“First Annual Membership Meeting” •October 8th, 2004

The first annual general membership meeting of the Ulster-Scots Society of America will take place the evening of October 8th at 6:30pm at The Pier seafood restaurant in Kings Mountain, NC.

Members will gather together again the next morning on October 9th, at 9am, at the gift shop located on the Kings Mountain National Military Park. From there the group will tour the various reenactments and encampments which will take place the entire day of October 9th, 2004.

Information has also been included on the special wreath laying ceremony commemorating the 224th anniversary of the battle of Kings Mountain which will take place on October 7th should individual members want to arrive early in order to attend this special event. Please let me know as soon as possible if you plan to attend the meeting on the evening of October 8th as well as the get together at the battlefield itself on the morning of Oct 9th. We will need a head count. I look forward to seeing you there!
